VALUE: Outstanding Value at $199! The worst iPad 2 sells at $500 minimum. The Fire has almost everything the iPad has with a smaller screen - which we like the portability of.
DAMAGE: Display is made with Gorilla Glass which is close to indestructible and VERY scratch resistant. Back is completely rubberized which means it won't slide off and break.

READING: Finally, we can read our tablet in the dark! Fire comes with a lit background so you can read your fav e-book before bed. We didn't like how it was difficult to read in the sun.
BATTERY: The Fire tested out at over 7 hours of continuous video play and nearly 8 hours of reading. Very impressive. Super convenient for long plane and car rides.
Can The Fire Last Longer Than 8 Hours?
INTERNET: Slower than we would have liked but still not half bad with a decent WIFI connection.
RESOLUTION: Brilliant screen resolution for watching movies and online video.
MEDIA: This is what you will love about The Fire: You can freely move music and video on and off - not like iTunes with its Apple only restrictions.
OVERALL: The Fire isn't perfect but it's a GREAT buy. For the price, you simply cannot beat all the features it has. We think it's the steal of the holiday season and Amazon will sell out from all the demand.

Why Do We Think The Kindle Fire Might Sell Out?
Quite simply, Supply and Demand. The Kindle Fire has been so hot, we honestly don't know if even Amazon anticipated how many people would buy their tablet.
Keep in mind, Amazon is probably taking a loss on the new Kindle to break the Apple addiction so it's very possible they curbed production to a reasonable amount - AND not the crazy feeding frenzy we're in now.
